But on Monday, it seemed to be business as usual as the young mother had whipped her hair into a top-knot, slipped into a sloppy mismatched tracksuit and headed for her daily Starbucks fix.
After this pilgrimage to the coffee alchemists, Brit sloped off for a manicure before riding off into the sunset with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.

But it could all be so much better, fair enough, she probably couldn't be bothered to put together an outfit for her day of chores but Britney doesn't need to be bothered, with her money she could hire the best stylist and see her life and image transformed.
This is a delicate time for the singer, we've known her as the teenage pop star, the troubled young woman in and out of marriage and for the last couple of years, as a strangely vacant and calm blonde under the control of the males in her family.
Wouldn't it be nice to see her use her millions to take control of her life, career and image in a positive way?
