Back to mommy duties! Jennifer Garner is fresh and causal on a school run with daughter Violet the day after SAG Awards

She was the golden girl in a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta number at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.
But come Monday, Jennifer Garner was back to mommy duties as she collected daughter Violet from class.
The 40-year-old mother-of-three ditched her restrictive metallic gown from the night before in favour of donning a more casual ensemble.

The star slipped on a stripy grey and beige jumper with fitted jeans and boots to walk her child from the school gate.

Simply putting her brunette locks - which were perfectly curled the night before - back into a ponytail, she appeared to have recovered from the party the night before.
Jennifer held hands with her seven-year-old girl, who wore a blue pinafore with a white polo short underneath, carrying a cure lunchbox and large pink rucksack which coordinated with her trainers.

It’s no wonder the actress and her eldest offspring were in such high spirits aside from it being home time.
They had good reason to smile after Ben Affleck's movie Argo won best ensemble cast at the SAGs the night before.
Ben directed and stars in the international thriller about a CIA operative orchestrating a daring rescue during the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis.

The film, which also stars John Goodman and Alan Arkin as Hollywood veterans who help stage a fake movie as a cover, has received nearly unanimous critical raves and has proven to be a box-office favorite, as well, grossing nearly $190 million worldwide.
But Argo also won the Producers Guild of America Award on Saturday night, which is an excellent Oscar predictor, and it earned best picture and director statues from the Golden Globes two weeks earlier.
The Directors Guild of America Awards next Saturday will help crystallize the situation even further.
