The Steel Magnolia star's attire featured sheer swirled panelling at the bust and she teamed the ensemble with a pair of navy stilettos and a blue leather clutch. Last November, the actress spoke of how hard it was to gain 25lbs to portray Mary Todd Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's film.
'It was hard, it was very hard,' she revealed to Jay Leno on his late night talk show.

At first Sally tried to pack on the pounds the healthy way.
'I tried to do it healthy, which I understand there isn't any way to do it healthy,' she said.

'I ate brown rice and these protein drinks made out of stuff called pro-Gain . . . Oh God, it was just disgusting. I never had a fun meal, basically. It just was discipline.'And like most woman know, the actress said it was extremely difficult to regain her trim figure after filming wrapped.
'It took me about six months to gain it, and about a year to lose it. I began to work out like a mad fiend,' she explained.

'I had two trainers. I really worked out hard 4 times a week. I eventually had to have knee surgery. My little frame couldn't hold this amount of weight.'For both her superb acting skills and physical transformation efforts, Field has subsequently been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes next weekend.
Meanwhile, another actor who has made an extreme physical transformation for a film role also attended Monday's New York Film Critics Circle Awards.
