While in Sundance to promote her film Stoker, the actress channelled another role that's not set to land her on the silver screen until 2014 as leading lady-turned-princess Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco.
The 45-year-old walked the carpet on Sunday in a maroon coloured knee-length coat with mid-century inspired shoulders and a double-breasted closure.

She capped off her look with her tousled red locks pushed behind her ear to show off her vintage inspired emerald earrings and a pair of elegant black gloves.The Australian actress later transformed into a cap-sleeved nude dress with a classic high neckline.
The Oscar winner has recently refocused her career, ditching big screen hits for indie projects like The Paperboy and Stoker, both of which had a paltry budget around $12 million.

In her January cover issue of the Hollywood Reporter, the actress talked about joining the growing group of A-listers who are at the festival to hawk their small-budget films.
'What is a movie star? I actually don't even know what a movie star is now,' she said.
'When the best female part of the year is Claire Danes in Homeland, you know the game's changed. Maybe in the '50s, there was a far more particular idea for a movie star. But now that's all blurry -- everything's more fluid.'

But it takes a dark turn as a mysterious uncle, played by Mathew Goode, starts to stir up trouble.
And her next two films are independents as well. She's already shot World War II drama The Railway Man with Colin Firth, and later this year will start production on Before I Go To Sleep, an adaptation of the S.J. Watson novel about a British woman who each morning loses her memory of the previous day.

'At school, I really wanted to be the girl next door. And then later on, I went, ''Uh, maybe I'm not the girl next door.'' I have finally accepted that -- embraced it, really -- and that's why I love being a character actor.'
'I try to go places I'm terrified of,' she said. 'It makes you more compassionate. The journey of life is hard; you're always waiting for the cannonball to come and hit you.'
