She just celebrated her very first Mother's Day.

And Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky was spotted spending Monday afternoon teaching her daughter India Rose how to walk at Kreation Kafe in Santa Monica.

The 36-year-old actress also brought along her mother Cristina Pataky Medianu and a brunette gal pal as they dined outside on Montana Avenue.

The Spanish beauty literally got on her knees on the pavement with the adorable one-year-old encouraging the apple-cheeked youngster to walk on her bare feet.

Much to her mother's chagrin, little India did not appear to enjoy the taste of freedom and longed to get back into a more comfortable crawling position.

The future sister-in-law of Miley Cyrus was later seen pushing India in her stroller alongside an equally blonde Cristina.

Not seen Monday was Pataky's husband and India's father, Chris Hemsworth.

The 29-year-old hunk has two films coming out -  Rush, a biopic on racecar driver Niki Lauda coming out September 20, and Thor: The Dark World due out November 8.

The former model is currently promoting Fast & Furious 6, which hits cinemas on May 24.
