It seems Maria Sharapova is proving a lucky charm for Grigor Dimitrov.
Dimitrov snuggled up to the number two female player and model the day after defeating Novak Djokovic, the number one male player in the world in the Madrid Open.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian rising tennis star and the talented 26-year-old Russian beauty were seen publicly displaying their affection during a romantic evening stroll through the streets of Madrid on Wednesday, stopping on a street corner to kiss passionately.

The young athlete then kissed his famous girlfriend's neck and cheek, to which she closed her eyes and smiled passionately.

Walking and talking: The lovebirds strolled through Spain's capital city getting to know each other better
Right after upsetting Djokovic on Tuesday in the tournament, Grigor told Sports Illustrated that he was inspired by a 'few words' from his girlfriend that he’ll 'remember definitely for the rest of my life.'
What those words were, exactly, no one but Grigor and Maria know.

Young lovers: The two walked through the charm of Madrid like any pair of young lovers
It's been more than a year since Maria called off her engagement to basketball player Sasha Vujacic last Spring.
'It was obviously a challenging decision, you know, from both of our ends,' the female tennis champ said during an interview in September of 2012. 'We have a tremendous amount of respect for each other. I still would love to call him a friend. We spent really great years together.'
However, it appears Maria may have now found a new athlete to fall for, yet this time in her own sport.
Rising star: Grigor's 28th in the world tennis ranking is sure to rise after beating Djokovic on Tuesday in Madrid
Bombshell: Maria wore a nude bodysuit on the cover of Esquire Mexico for this month's May issue
