And despite being introduced to the cut throat world of high fashion, Ireland Baldwin insists that she will not succumb to the pressures of being thin.
The teen daughter of 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger says that she wants to  rather maintain a more realistic size.

'I want to be an inspirational model,' she told People magazine in a recent interview.
'I want people to look at me and say, "Wow, she looks healthy."'
Since her rise to fame, the 17-year-old has received more than her share of negative feedback online, both as collateral damage due to her notoriously short-tempered father and her own ventures into the celebrity spotlight.

'I have received nasty e-mails, messages on Twitter and ridiculous comments not only about my size but my family,' Ireland told People magazine.
At the end of last month the ridicule saw the blonde teen post an open letter on her Tumblr account.
'I understand that I am not a size .008. What I don't fully understand is, what is the good in commenting on a photo of a 17-year-old girl calling her fat, ugly, etc?,' she wrote.
'I didn't expect it. It was really surprising to see how negative people can be towards someone they don’t even know.'

Ireland first caught headlines after a leaked voicemail from her father Alec referred to her as a 'rude, thoughtless little pig,' in 2007.
In her interview with People, she addressed her apparent 'tumultuous' relationship with Alec, saying that the pair are now very close.
'People make it out to be so dramatic. My dad and I are very tight-knit, despite what people may think,' she said.

These days Ireland says that both her mother and her father are working on being friends again.
'My parents always manage to work things out,' she says. '...my parents can have each other over for Thanksgiving just to make me happy.'
One thing that is for sure is that Ireland is looking forward to becoming a big sister, as her stepmother Hilaria Thomas prepares for the birth of her daughter with Alec.

'I have always wanted a sibling! I'm so excited to meet my sister. I want her to know that I'm here for her whenever she needs,' she says.
'I love Hilaria. She saved my dad, getting him in amazing shape. And she brought him out of a bad place of being lonely.'

She is seen playing a damsel in distress, writhing around in the sand and pretending that she needs a lifeguard to save her.
In the clips, Ireland is joined by a friend and wears a pair of black workout leggings and a cropped white tank top.
