Ben Stiller has lost over $1million from the sale of his New York home.
The actor put his luxurious city pad on the market for $9.6million back in August, four years after he his wife Christine Taylor purchased the duplex for $10million.
Despite advertising it for $400,000 below the buying price, the comedian has walked away with much less money than he hoped for.

The lucky buyer paid only $8.995million for the home on Riverside Drive. The 4000 square foot property was designed Roman and Williams and boasts cool, modern interiors.
Situated in Manhattan it has stunning views of the Hudson River from its large windows.

It has five bedrooms and five and half bathrooms, which would have provided the Stiller brood with plenty of space.
It’s likely that Ben and Christine resided in the master bedroom, which sits on the downstairs floor of the split-level apartment.
