'We're beyond excited!' Former Cold Case star Kathryn Morris, 44, expecting twins with boyfriend Johnny Messner

Kathryn Morris bundle of joy just got bigger.
For the actress has revealed that, at age 44, she is expecting twins with her beau of three years Johnny Messner.
The happy news means that Kathryn will have have her arms full in the months ahead.

She played Detective Lilly Rush on the hit CBS show that ran for seven consecutive seasons until its end in 2010.
But now Kathryn can look forward to the real-life role of a first-time mother.

Kathryn doesn't plan on cutting back on her work schedule just yet though.
The Minority Report star is currently filming a drama pilot entitled Surgeon General - again for CBS - about America's doctor and his team who battle nature's ills, politics and business, in order to protect the health of all  Americans.
The 41-year-old Johnny, meanwhile, just wrapped the action-packed crime drama The Outside opposite James Caan, Shannon Elizabeth and Jason Patric.

The news shouldn't cause Kathryn any nervous palpitations.
After all, she comes from a large family herself, which included six sisters and brothers.
Her clan were a part of a traveling gospel singing group called Morris Code.
When the family finally put down roots, it was in the town of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
