Their road to parenthood has been anything but easy.
But as The Little Couple's Jennifer Arnold and Bill Klein introduced their son William to the world on Thursday it was clear they felt he was worth every moment of heartache.
'I believe he was meant to be ours since the day he was born,' doctor Jennifer revealed in a preview for Katie Couric's chatshow, set to be broadcast on Friday.

Bill was equally proud. 'He’s really expressive and can tell you how he wants his burger done just by his eyebrows,' he gushed. 'He’s got a way with people.'
Like his new parents William Rijin Klein, three, suffers from a form of dwarfism.

Born in China he joined his adoptive parents at their home in Texas just a few weeks ago.
Because of the challenges a pregnancy would pose to Jennifer's health, she and Bill initially turned to surrogacy to have a baby.

'The moment I saw him, I knew that I wanted [him],' Jennifer gushed in a preview for their upcoming season. 'I could just envision myself taking him home and having him running around the living room and him being part of our family.'
The new season of the show premieres April 30 at 10pm ET on TLC.
