A cute distraction: Rachel Zoe takes her mind off reality TV ratings slump as she enjoys day out with son Skyler

Her reality TV show is said to be at risk of being axed air after ratings hit an all-time low.
But Rachel Zoe was determined to take her mind off things on Wednesday as she spent time with her son.
The fashion stylist and designer was spotted in West Hollywood, California with her little boy Skyler and her husband Rodger Berman.

The 41-year-old put a smile on her little boys’ face after presenting him with his favourite Corgi dog stuffed toy after having lunch with him at a nearby branch of Le Pain Quotidien.

The gesture obviously filled the blonde with glee too as she grinned granting the child’s wishes.
They made a very stylish group as long-haired Rodger and Skyler matched clothing in jeans and navy tops.

Rachel stood out in a bright patterned maxi dress with open-toe wedge sandals which matched her black cardigan and wide-brim hat.
The star stylist embellished her ensemble with oversize sunglasses which coordinated with her gold bangle and chunky medallion necklace.
The touching day out with her tot seemed to be all that mattered as it emerges her Bravo programme is swiftly decreasing in popularity.

The Rachel Zoe Project – which shows Rachel at work with celebrities and fashion houses - is in its fifth season but has lost nearly 40 per cent of its audience across the key 18-49 demographic.
Network ratings for last week’s episode only gained 518,000 viewers, which is the least it has seen since the show began in September 2008.
The Bravo Ratings blog states: ‘In the 18-49 demographic her audience drop-off is averaging a deficit of -35% & -44% respectively.’

Also a part of Fashion Night by Bravo on Wednesday evenings, Zoe’s ex assistant Brad Goreski’s show It’s A Brad, Brad World, is performing even worse than hers.
The programme only claimed 473,000 viewers and his 18-49 demographic is down by 50 per cent.
But Rachel has been using Twitter to promote her show and on continued to encouraged fans to support her by tuning in to the latest episode.’

Rachel then re-tweeted one fan who confirmed the weekly episodes are still a big part of her midweek evenings.
User Roxyybee wrote, much to the star’s delight: ‘Cannot wait to watch @RachelZoe project tonight! Favorite part of my week! It's like my weekly dose of all things fabulous and fashionable!’

Losing viewers: Rachel's show The Rachel Zoe Project is at risk of being cancelled after receiving poor ratings
