The look-alike pair both showed off their pouty lips and flowing hair as they walked along the busy road and back to their car.
The 14-month-old looked ready for naptime in a moose-covered red onesie.
And despite the warm weather, Jennifer made sure to keep her youngster's feet warm in a pair of trendy blue belted trainers and a pair of matching striped socks.

She paired the simple top with her standby favourite denim bottoms and a pair of brown leather loafers.
The day off is a welcome one for the working mother, who is reported to be starting production in the fall on the live-action children's flick 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.'
The film, based on the popular children's novel by Judy Viorst will also star Steve Carell.

Goodbye Molly the patriot, hello Lanie the organic gardener: American Girl 'archives' beloved historical dolls in favor of new modern characters

Posted on 5:59 PM by dvdsvdsdv

The iconic American Girl dolls that inspired a generation of women by bravely facing slavery and the Depression have been shelved in favor of characters who are into baking and organic gardening.
The Atlantic reports that the company's three original girls -  World War II patriot Molly, Scandinavian farmer Kirsten and Victorian aristocrat Samantha - have been archived, and dolls like Lanie the amateur gardener and McKenna the gymnast have been shifted into center stage.
When American Dolls was founded in 1986 by former schoolteacher Pleasant T. Rowland, the historical dolls were the core of the brand.

Historical figures: Addy (left) was the doll who escaped from slavery on the eve of the Civil War to find her father and brother, while Molly (right) was a World War II patriot

Modern themes: American Girl's Girl of the Year doll in 2012 was McKenna the gymnast (left) while 2010 featured Lanie the gardener (right)
Each was released with a set of six books that introduced readers to a specific time period through the eyes of a young girl. But since being acquired by Mattel in 1998, American Girl has been slowly changing focus.

In 2008 some original characters were 'archived', and now Samantha, Kirsten and the colonial character Felicity are no longer sold by American Girl.
Journalist Amy Schiller argues that the company has shifted to more neutral present-day dolls with watered-down back stories.
doll
Growing pains: Since 1986 American Doll has created iconic characters that inspired girls, but the company has now archived some of its most famous historical characters
She points out that the original dolls were involved in the critical societal movements of their day. Samantha challenged the brutal working conditions of children in factories. Kirsten faced the brutal reality of manifest destiny when her Native American friend Singing Bird had to move away.

New challenges: Current 'Girl of the Year' Saige loves art and horses
And Addy bravely escaped from slavery on the eve of the Civil War to find her father and brother.
Schiller points out that current Girl of the Year Saige, who 'loves art and horses' is white and upper-middle-class - just like McKenna the gymnast, and Lanie the amateur gardener and butterfly enthusiast.
The newer crop of dolls also face 'challenges' though they mostly seem to be the type that would trend on Twitter with the hashtag #firstworldproblems.

One has a bake sale to help save the arts program in a local school, while another scores a victory for the organic food movement when she persuades a neighbor to stop using pesticides.
American Girl spokeswoman Stephanie Spanos tells Schiller that this is simply an inventory decision in order to make room for new product lines, and American Girl  'still considers the historical characters to be the heart of the brand.'
But Schiller believes that the company's marketing tells a different story. 'Perhaps the time has come for a doll who takes her fourth-grade class on a field trip to Occupy Wall Street', she writes.

Finally! Two decades after dropping out of Harvard delighted Matt Damon arrives to collect college's prestigious Arts Medal

Posted on 7:40 PM by dvdsvdsdv

He’s received many awards in his successful film career. But this one must be extra special for Matt Damon.
Twenty-one years after he dropped out of the prestigious college the actor looked delighted as he returned to be presented with the 2013 Harvard Arts Medal for his work in front of and behind the camera.
The 42-year-old and his wife Luciana arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Thursday ahead of the evening's ceremony, which will see Harvard President Drew Faust present him with the gong.

The ceremony included a discussion with Damon on his life and career, moderated by his fellow actor John Lithgow, who will host the event.
The Harvard Arts Medal honours a distinguished Harvard or Radcliffe graduate or faculty member who has achieved excellence in the arts and has made a contribution through the arts to education or the public good.
Matt attended the school from 1988-1992 however he did not graduate.

Luckily Damon's lack of a degree did not hinder his career. In 1997 he went on to write and star in Good Will Hunting with his best friend Ben Affleck.
The movie won the pair Best Original Screenplay honours at both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards.
As he arrived in Cambridge on Thursday Damon looked relaxed in jeans with a white T-shirt and black hooded top, throwing on a brown leather jacket and black shoes.

However the thespian did have a large bag on his shoulder and also carried a suit case from Dolce & Gabbana.
Meanwhile his wife was also casually dressed in denim trousers with a grey vest, tweed jacket and scarf.
The brunette covered her eyes in aviator sunglasses and patted down her locks as they battled the wind.

Previous winners of the Harvard Arts Medal include Tommy Lee Jones, Jack Lemmon, and Yo-Yo Ma.
Matt and his wife Luciana - who raise four daughters, Alexia, 14, Isabella, six, Gia, four, and two-year-old Stella, together - recently listed their seven-bedroom property for $20 million, $9.7 million more than they paid for it in 2005.
The 'Behind the Candelabra' star's mansion boasts a swimming pool, pool house, a courtyard entrance, home cinema, wine cellar, rooftop terrace, boat dock and 10 bathrooms.
There is also a two-bedroom guesthouse on the grounds of the Mediterranean-style estate called Maravilla, which looks out on Biscayne Bay.

The Boston native recently revealed he found the marathon bombings earlier this month ‘unbelievably disturbing’.
‘It's really, really horrible and upsetting,’ he said. ‘These kids who allegedly were the bombers went to my high school and I only found out when I had the TV news on and I heard the voice of my history teacher saying he knew the younger brother and didn't understand what had happened.
‘Marathon Monday is a really big deal in Boston. Kids don't have to go to school, it's a big community event and these guys who were part of the community put bombs in the middle of the celebration. It's unbelievably disturbing.’

Meanwhile Matt’s friend and colleague Ben is also set to receive an award from his university.
The 40-year-old will get an honorary degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island at a ceremony on May 26.
The Ivy League university apparently made the decision in September which was long before he scooped awards for his film Argo.

Too many workouts? Chaz Bono struggles to exit his car in a foot brace after revealing 60lb weight loss

Posted on 7:37 PM by dvdsvdsdv
He suffered ankle and knee injuries during his 2011 stint on Dancing with the Stars.
And now Chaz Bono seems to be struggling with an unfortunate foot ailment, as he stepped out in Beverly Hills on Thursday wearing a walking brace.
The son of pop queen Cher could've used some assistance as he exited his car during the outing.

He appeared in obvious pain as he leaned against the vehicle's frame while gingerly placing weight on the strained foot.
A nearby attendant seemed unaware of the 44-year-old's struggle as he focused on writing a valet ticket rather than holding the sedan's door.
Chaz at least appeared comfortably dressed in a blue cotton T-shirt, khaki shorts and one leather sandal.

The Dancing with the Stars alumnus recently celebrated an impressive 60lb weight loss after embracing a healthier lifestyle over the past two years.
He told People that he's 'still slowly losing' with the help of regular dance and martial arts sessions, adding, 'I really avoid grains and starches, so meats and vegetables and fruits are my diet. I make them all different ways to keep it interesting.'
Chaz took to Twitter to share more of his techniques, writing, 'It's not about dieting, it's changing eating habits 4ever.'

He continued, 'What's worked for me is, no sugar, no grains, no dairy except goat cheese, no white starches, portion control, and high intensity workouts.'
Chaz's appearance on Dancing with the Stars inspired him to continue to pursue a regular exercise regimen.
Though he and partner Lacy Schwimmer were eliminated early in the competition, he managed to shed a reported 12lbs during his time on the show.
Still, the strenuous workouts took a toll on his body, and Chaz revealed of his strained ankle,  'It's taken a pounding.'

She just keeps getting better! Slim Sharon Stone, 55, hits LAX fresh-faced and dressed in leather

Posted on 8:56 PM by dvdsvdsdv

At age 55, Sharon Stone proves that you can age gracefully without bidding farewell to the sexier accoutrements of youth.
The actress made her way through LAX on Wednesday with minimal makeup on and still managed to look stunning.
And what's more, the 5ft9 blonde beauty dressed up her slender frame in sharp layers of leather.

Striding into the busy airport, Sharon walked confidently in tight khaki cargo trousers and tall brown boots.
The stacked heel boosted the already-tall actress to new heights.
Topping the trousers was a long-sleeved silk floral blouse, which sported white and violet flowers.
Fresh faced! With barely a trace of makeup on, the blonde beauty looked half her age

A sleeveless leather vest layered over the blouse and matched her boots perfectly.
Adding another theme to the safari-floral inspired outfit, the Basic Instinct star placed a long string of shells around her neck.
Clutching a snakeskin leather bag in one hand, Sharon left her other hand free to prepare for a long line at security.

Though she wore black aviator sunglasses into the airport, she removed them when it came time to walk through the scanner.
Sunglasses out of the way, it appeared as though Sharon skipped putting on makeup for her travel day.
Her stunning bone structure and fair complexion looked vibrant under usually unflattering fluorescent lighting.
The Oscar nominee has a busy year ahead, and will play a dermatologist who hired a male escort in this year's Fading Gigolo, starring and directed by John Turturro.
Sharon has several other films due out this year, including the drama Lovelace starring Amanda Seyfried, the Skype film Mother's Day with Susan Sarandon, and the dramedy Gods Behaving Badly with Christopher Walken.
