And Britney Spears sparked curiosity by tweeting a still of her new music video Saturday displaying a curious silver band on her ring finger.

The 31-year-old pop star has been dating her 'everyday Dave' - a law firm field researcher - since February.

However, the Grammy winner has been photographed in various rings on that finger as far back as February 25, so it's unclear whether the modest bauble, which could be a promise ring, is from Lucado.

According to Radar Online, David had to undergo a background check and sign a non-disclosure contract before her father-turned-conservator Jamie Spears would allow them to date.
